My name is Alessandra Ferrini and I am the education liaison at The Chocolate Museum, located in Brixton, London. We are an independent, self-funded museum that showcases a collection of objects and memorabilia related to the history of chocolate, with focus on British heritage. Our mission is to inspire a passion for learning about quality chocolate and its history both in Britain and worldwide.
We run a programme of chocolate making and historical workshops for different ages, from children and families to schools, teenagers and adults as well as for special occasions. Our workshops run both during term time and during the holidays. Last year, during the Summer Holidays, we were very lucky to receive an amazingly engaged group of Scouts. Thus, I am writing to you in order to inform you about the fun and educational programme of workshops that we offer. Please refer to the school programme page on our website, which lists similar workshops: http://thechocolatemuseum.co.
We deliver workshops from our premises, where we display our permanent exhibition but we are also able to deliver the workshops from your own premises. For more information on group visits please visit our website: http://thechocolatemuseum.co.
