Introductory Course
The Introductory Course for over-14s lasts for one day. We will start by teaching you how to do a parachute-landing roll and tell you about the parachute that you are going to use during the day. A member of the team will then undertake a trial flight to check the wind conditions. Your flying then commences. Your course includes three launches. Club members who run your courses are volunteers and are all members of the British Hangliding and Paragliding Association.
The Young Person Experience days for under-14s consist of two sessions starting at 09:30hrs and 14:00hrs. The youngsters will be taught basic landing rolls and how to put on a harness they will then receive two flights, flying tandem with a member of the club.
Responsible adults must accompany any participants under the age of 16 throughout the day.
