Croydon Home to Croydon Scout Borough (formerly the Districts of Central Croydon, Eastern Croydon, North Croydon and Purley).
Kingston A Royal Borough on the Thames, Kingston is the home of the Royal Kingston District (formerly the Districts of Kingston & Malden and Surbiton).
Merton The only Borough to have an animated graphic. Home to the Wimbledon & Wandle District (formerly the Districts of Wandle and Wimbledon & Merton).
Richmond A Borough on the Thames and home to Richmond-upon-Thames District.
Sutton calls itself "The greener, cleaner Borough", and is home to Sutton District (formerly the two Districts of Sutton & Cheam and Wallington & Carshalton).
The National Trust cares for a considerable amount of the English countryside, including 575 miles of coastline. In addition it looks after more than 200 buildings and gardens all of which would make a good place to visit on a wet afternoon..
English Heritage helps to preserve many of the ancient monuments and listed buildings in England. They also have Education Centres plus guide books to many major sites.
The Forestry Commission has more than a million hectares of forest in its care. The forests provide opportunities for walking, horse riding, cycling, orienteering as well as providing extensive campsites.
YHA The Youth Hostel Association provide good basic and luxury accommodation in the UK. Ideal for a winter break with your section or as a base for more advanced expeditions where camping is not an option.
The Met. Office Get an up to date weather forecast for this weekend's camp or expedition, or just visit the site for weather maps and information about how the weather is predicted.
Raleigh International Raleigh International is a UK based charity which aims to develop young people through challenging and worthwhile community and environmental projects on expeditions around the world.

Blue Peter The well known CBBC television programme has its own web pages on the main BBC site. Try here for programme ideas, things to make ("Here's one I made earlier"), and check out cybercafe.
RSPB This link will take you to the RSPB's youth pages (there is a link back to their main site). The pages have lots of material including bird identification and project work.
