Award Presentation
On Friday 9th December 2005, Kate Hoey MP presented Queen’s Scout and Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award badges to eight members of Greater London South West, from Croydon, Royal Kingston, and Sutton Districts.
The Presentation ceremony was held at Carshalton House Water Tower, an 18th century folly in the grounds of St Philomena’s School, Carshalton, in the presence of 40 guests.
Kate Hoey MP is a former Sports Minister, and currently Chairman of the Countryside Alliance. She is a Queen’s Guide and Member of the Scout Association’s Parliamentary Group.
