Scout International Student Exchange

Are you 14 - 17 years old?

Would you like the opportunity to spend up to two months in Australia next summer, hosted by an Australian Venturer Unit?

If the answer is YES then read on!

For several years now, this exchange programme has enabled Scouts and Explorer Scouts to spend up to two months in Australia, living with Scout families, attending a local school or college for some of that time, and taking part in local Scouting and family activities. On a reciprocal basis, in our UK winter, we have hosted Australian Venturers for their summer vacation, staying with Scout families and taking part in local community and Scouting links in December/January each year.

As a self financing exchange programme, the only costs to the Scouts will be their airfare, insurance, a small admin fee and spending money. Those who have participated previously have often been able to obtain some financial assistance or local grant aid towards some of the costs involved.
