A Group Development Plan will let you plan what happens to your Group in the future. There are five easy steps to producing a Group Development Plan:

1. Get a team together to produce the plan: GSL’s, Leaders, helpers, Executive members, and District Team members can all play their part.

2. Download ‘Producing a Group Development Plan Part 1’ (34KBytes MSWord). This is completed example of a group audit that will help you take stock of your group.

3. Download ‘Producing a Group Development Plan Part 2’ (34KBytes MSWord). The is your chance to audit your Group and make decisions about its future.

4. Download ‘Group Development Plan’ (25KBytes MSWord). This is it! List the main actions that need to be undertaken in your Group to insure you continue to provide ‘Better Scouting for more Young People’. Remember you are not alone; your District and County teams are here to help you. If you want help, just let us know.
