Welcome to the GLSW Development Project web pages. These pages have been designed to help you develop your Section, Group or District. Please feel free to download and adapt any of the resources on these pages.
Our resources are split into six main areas:

Thinking Differently about Greater London South West: A strategy for growth – the next stage
Adult Recruitment Resources (including CHALLENGE 24)
Everyday Adventure – your communications toolkit
We also have a gallery of pictures taken during the County’s Join the Adventure day on 18th March 2006.
The aim of the GLSW Development Project is to ensure the continued growth and development of Scouting in GLSW. The project started its second three-year term in December 2004 and our four key objectives for the following three years are to:
- work with District Development Teams to recruit more adults
- increase membership in the GLSW County Scout Network
- increase Explorer Scout membership within GLSW
- set up and support new sustainable BMEC (Black, Minority and Ethnic Community) Scout Groups where the need has been identified
If you have any questions regarding development, or feedback on our development resources please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
