Flexible Volunteering - Royal seal of approval
The Duchess of Cambridge becomes latest Scouting volunteer
You will probably now be aware that Clarence House has announced that The Duchess of Cambridge will become a volunteer helper within the Scout Movement.
The Duchess will be helping out at Scout meetings and will be supporting specific projects. This role is all about flexible volunteering and is ideal for The Duchess. Due to all the other demands in her life she is not able to make a regular weekly commitment, but still wants to help make a difference. The Duchess will be helping out in particular with Cub Scout Packs and Beaver Scout Colonies.
As flexible volunteering is therefore high on the current news agenda we see this as a brilliant opportunity to offer up suitable case studies of our adults aged under 35, who have a Scouting role, whilst at the same time managing to juggle a busy lifestyle around their flexible volunteering. Is this you? Do you know someone in your Group who does this? If so please let us know click here
